Internet & WiFi in the Residence Halls
Staying connected is easy! Your internet in the residence halls is provided by Boldyn Networks and includes both WiFi and Ethernet (wired) access.
Step 1: Connect to WiFi
- Open your device’s WiFi settings
- Select “MyResNet Start Here”
- Open a browser and follow the setup instructions
- Create your account and register your device
Once set up, you’ll be able to connect your devices to the network.
👉 Tip: You can connect multiple devices like your phone, laptop, gaming system, and more.
Step 2: Using Ethernet (Wired Internet)
Want a faster, more stable connection? Use Ethernet:
- Plug an Ethernet cable into the wall port in your room
- Connect the other end to your device
- Open a browser and complete the login/registration if prompted
Ethernet is available in residence halls and may require device registration before it works.
Step 3: Register Your Devices
Some devices (like gaming consoles, smart TVs, or streaming devices) may need to be registered before they connect.
- Visit the internet setup portal
- Add your device
- Follow the prompts to get connected
