2025-2026 Important Housing Dates
Dates listed below are based on the academic calendar and are subject to change.
April 9
Graduate Student AY 26-27 Housing Applications Open, Summer School Housing Applications Open
Academic Year 2026 -2027 Housing Applications goes live for Graduate Students. Summer School Housing application goes live. We accept applications on a rolling basis and accommodate students as space becomes available.
April 15
Academic Year 2026-2027 Housing Application Goes Live
All full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students who have not already applied for the upcoming academic year can apply for housing.
May 13
Residence Halls Close - CLICK FOR MORE INFORMATION
Residence Hall closure for Spring 2026 Semester. Unless approved to stay, all residents must check out by May 13, at 5:00 pm. Students who are not graduating or residing on campus for the summer will need to check out by May 13, at 5:00 pm.
2026-27 Important Housing Dates

August 19-20
New Students Move In Week
Approved Students can move-in for early arrival. Upper-level students are eligible. Housing Application opens on the Housing Portal on July 1st - August 1st.
August 21-23
Upper-Level Move-In
Upper-level residents may move in during their assigned move-in period.
August 24
First Day of Classes
Classes begin for all students on this date
September 7
Labor Day
October 12
Fall Break (No Classes)
November 3
Election Day (No Classes)
November 25-29
Thanksgiving Break
Residences halls remain open throughout the break.
December 16
Residence Halls Close for Winter Break at 5:00pm
Residence Hall closure - Students not approved for Winter Break Housing or Extended Stay need to leave for winter break by 5:00pm.
December 21
Fall Extended Stay Ends at 9:00am
Approved extended stay residents must check out by 9:00 a.m.
January 10
Spring 2027 Early Arrival Move-In
Residents approved for early arrival housing can access their spring space.
January 15
Spring 2027 General Move-In
New and returning students not approved for early arrival may move in for the Spring semester.
January 19
First Day of Spring Classes
March 8-14
Spring Break
Residence halls remain open. No application to stay is necessary.
May 12
Residence Halls Close for the Summer @ 5:00pm
