What is Style My Mason Space Challenge?

This challenge is a great way for all residential students to showcase their room’s transformation into their new on-campus home!

Residents are encouraged to be creative about decorating their rooms and the winners receive prizes from our sponsors.

The timeframe to enter the Style My Mason Space Challenge is Friday, August 26th, through Friday, September 6th at 11:59 pm.

Winners will be notified via email, and announced at Amplify on Tuesday, September 23.

How It Works

#1: Snap a Photo of Your Room

Select one or multiple categories you are interested in entering for the contest. Check the category theme and criteria below for more information.
 

#2: Select Your Category Entry

Take a photo of your space that best represents your category choice. Review the rules and guidelines before submitting your photo. Violations of any conditions will disqualify your entries.

#3: Submit Your Entries

Fill in the form below to submit up to 3 photos in total. Supported file types include JPG and PNG. Note: The same photo submitted multiple times counts toward the total submission limit. Patriots Choice
This room is the top voted by the Mason Nation! The “Patrtiots' Choice” category will be decided by social media interactions. The Patriots' Choice submissions will be posted on Mason Housing .Contestants will receive an email when submissions are posted.
Best Styled
This room is a ✨vibe✨ It's all about flipping that basic dull space into an Insta-worthy paradise. With dope decor, clever storage hacks, and major style, this room is straight-up goals. We are looking for the best decorated room here at Mason Housing.
Rules and Guidelines
  1. ​​​​​Please submit high-quality photos with sufficient lighting to show the room details. Acceptable photo formats include JPEG or PNG.
  2. Participants must currently live in an on-campus residence hall​.
  3. Submit up to 3 photos of your room (no collages) Do not include photos of you or your roommates in the room.
  4. No visible drug or alcohol, promotional materials, or obscene material​ All entries must comply with Residence Hall Policies.

Second Place Runner-up
A Mason-branded lawn chair featuring insulated cup holders, a bottle opener, and a draw-string bag protector with an easy-carry shoulder strap .
Third Place Runner up
A shopMason Blind Box featuring assorted electronic gadgets, personal care products, school supplies, and coupons to our fan-favorite retail locations on campus.
